Who we are
Createward is a global technology and builder community. This notice covers the Createward website. Questions about your data can be sent to [email protected].
What we collect
- When you join: your full name, email address, country, city, where you are on your journey (Explore, Learn, Build or Lead), the date you joined, and a record of your consent to receive community emails.
- When you pitch an article: your name, email, a short description of yourself, your article idea, and any link you share.
- When you send a partner enquiry: your name, organisation, work email, area of interest and message.
We don’t use advertising trackers on this website.
Why we use it
- To send you a welcome email and community updates you agreed to receive.
- To understand where our community is growing, so we can plan events, chapters and local programs. We look at this in aggregate (for example, the number of members per country).
- To reply to article pitches and partner enquiries.
Who processes it
Your information is stored in a database we control, hosted by Cloudflare. If you join, a copy of your name, email, country, city and journey stage is shared with our email service provider so we can send you emails. We don’t sell your information.
Event registration happens on Luma, and Discord and WhatsApp are separate services with their own privacy policies. Joining any of them is optional.
Your choices
- Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.
- You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information by emailing [email protected].
How long we keep it
We keep member information while you’re part of the community. If you ask us to delete it, we remove it from our database and our email provider.
